Threefold is a wall sculpture created for adidas Malaysia, reimagining the brand’s iconic three stripes through the lens of Malaysian multicultural identity.

The work is formed by three forward-leaning stainless steel layers, each carrying a pattern inspired by Malaysia’s Malay, Chinese, and Indian cultural motifs. Together, the stripes suggest movement, agility, and progression, while their overlapping forms reflect how different cultural identities can coexist, support, and strengthen one another.

Light glows from within the lattice, turning the wall into a symbol of energy, inclusivity, and forward motion. More than a decorative brand feature, Threefold becomes a contemporary expression of sport, culture, and unity — a familiar global icon reinterpreted through a distinctly Malaysian perspective.
