Trojan is a transformable light installation created for Christmas 2025 and Chinese New Year 2026. Standing as a monumental horse-shaped structure, the work reimagines the mythical Trojan Horse not as a symbol of deception, but as a vessel of transformation, anticipation, and renewal.

Built from a light bronze aluminium lattice and integrated with tunable LED light tubes, the sculpture shifts across different festive identities. For Christmas, it appears as a quiet winter monument, adorned with crystal-like ornaments and cool white light. As Chinese New Year arrives, it transforms into 如意奔腾, with red ru yi knots, flowing organza, and warm golden light suggesting movement, blessing, and the galloping spirit of the Horse.

After the festive layers are removed, Trojan returns to its raw form: light, structure, and presence. What remains is no longer just a seasonal icon, but a lasting architectural creature — caught between myth and machinery, celebration and contemplation.
