Wishing Trees is a charitable Christmas installation that reimagines the Christmas tree as a vessel for wishes, care, and remembrance.

Suspended from above, the installation appears as a series of glowing white trees formed by cascading lights and soft white details. On closer view, each hanging strip reveals a real handwritten wish submitted by 100 orphans living in Kuala Lumpur.

Some wishes are simple, some hopeful, and some quietly heartbreaking. Together, they transform the installation into a collective portrait of longing, innocence, and generosity.

White teddy bears and vertical LED lights are woven throughout the structure, creating a tender, luminous atmosphere. Each teddy bear represents a child whose wish is featured, giving presence to the voices behind the messages.

At the end of the exhibition, every child represented in the work receives a gift box filled with essentials, toys, and a message of care. Wishing Trees is a reminder that celebration is most meaningful when it reaches those who are often unseen.
