X-23 is a large-scale light installation created for xOrdinary 2023 at MITEC, marking the artist’s second year working with the platform.

Integrated directly into the exhibition’s scaffolding booth, the work transforms the temporary structure into a luminous architectural field. Linear tube lights are suspended within the metal framework, crossing and converging to form a dense composition of illuminated X-shaped gestures.

Rather than concealing the construction system, the installation embraces it. Scaffolding, cables, joints, and exposed fittings become part of the visual language, blurring the line between artwork, booth, and architecture.

The work reflects the spirit of xOrdinary — experimental, raw, and constantly in motion — turning a functional exhibition structure into an immersive environment of light, tension, and spatial energy.
